Usage Tips from Shantis Designs Solar

1. Sizing Your Battery: For the 3.6kVA-24V model, we recommend at least two 200Ah Gel batteries in series. For the 6kVA-48V model, a single KSTAR 5.12kWh LFP battery is the perfect high-performance match.

2. Solar Array: To take full advantage of the 120A MPPT, you can connect up to 4000W (for 3.6kVA) or 6000W (for 6kVA) of solar panels.

3. Appliance Check: Since this is a pure sine wave inverter, it is safe for inductive loads like refrigerators, washing machines, and water pumps. Ensure the total “startup surge” of your motors does not exceed the inverter’s peak capacity.

4. BMS Connection: If using a lithium battery, always use the BMS communication cable to allow the inverter to talk to the battery. This prevents overcharging and extends battery life by several years.
